Batista wanted to send a strong message to his opponent HBK, with just nine days left to the One Night Stand, and he does this in a grand style defeating MVP on SmackDown with his famous Batista Bomb. The event started when MVP invited former SmackDown General Manager Theodore Lounge to his lounge hoping to know why he stepped down as Vickie Guerrero’s assistant. Batista stepped in the ring when MVP held the former boss by his tie.

Rasta’s Revenge

Misty eyes for Palumbo
Chuck Palumbo reached Des Moines in hopes of an easy win over Finlay. He was much in control of the match until the Finlay’s son, Hornswoggle, came and turned the table in favor of his father. The pint sized star sprayed the green mist in the eyes of Palumbo and this is from where Finlay took the complete control of the match.
