SmackDown Results (July 11, 2008)

Shelton Benjamin vs. Matt Hardy
The match was involved two high flying men who like fighting at high pace. In the non title match Shelton Benjamin defeated Matt Hardy where each man tried to gain momentum over other. Benjamin pinned Hardy after blocking his Twist of Fate. The win would come quite useful to Benjamin.

Mr. Kennedy vs. Domino
Kennedy dominated the match for most period of time and ultimately pinned Domino for the victory. He had also teased MVP earlier saying that he is more valuable than MVP. Kennedy was attacked by Umaga after the match, bringing some smiles to MVP who sat along the ringside.

Finlay & Hornswoggle vs. The Miz & John Morrison
The rivalry between the two tag teams has just increased after the duo of father son Finlay & Hornswoggle defeated the tag team champions Miz & John Morrison.

Triple H vs. Chavo Guerrero
Chavo got the chance to take on Triple H in a non title match but the in form Triple H defeated the self-proclaimed “Mexican Warrior” easily by hitting the Pedigree.

Natalya and Maryse vs. Michelle McCool and Cherry
In a Diva tag team match, Natalya who teamed up with Maryse defeated her Great American Bash opponent McCool who had teamed with Cherry using the Sharpshooter.

Jesse and Festus vs. Zach Ryder and Curt Hawkins
Jesse and Festus were attacked by Zach Ryder and Curt Hawkins after their victory last week on SmackDown. The team of Jesse and Festus took revenge by defeating their opponents once again.

Vladimir Kozlov vs. Stevie Richards
The impressive winning streak of Kozlov continued when he defeated Richards at the SmackDown. But will he be able to continue this?

Edge vs. Big Show
After Edge said a lot of things about Vickie, the GM decided to put him in a match with the World’s Largest Athlete in a no Disqualification match. Big Show dominated the match and delivered the Rated R superstar with Con-Chair-To. But the heart in Vickie still beats for Edge who stepped inside the ring to stop the match and protecting her love.
