For the World Heavyweight Championship, CM Punk utilized his money in the Bank briefcase to defeat Edge. Punk after picking Edge delivered him the Go 2 Sleep in center of the ring and pinned him for the win. Later he successfully defended his title against JBL.

Mickie James vs. Jillian Hall
Mickie took on Jillian in a non title match. Mickie after her victory over Katie Lea Burchill at the Night of Champions was full of confidence and showed that why she deserved to be the champion by defeating Jillian using her Mick kick.

Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase vs. Darren Wade & Steve Anthony
The team of DiBiase and his mystery partner Cody Rhodes won the Tag Team title at the Night of Champions when they defeated Hardcore Holly. Rhodes, who was tired of fighting with Holly, along with the team of DiBiase took on Darren Wade & Steve Anthony on Monday night and won the match with ease.

Kofi Kingston vs. Chris Jericho
Kofi after his victory over Y2J at the Night of Champions was required to defend his title in a rematch. The Jamaican star showed that his victory previous night was not a fluke. Jericho was ruled Disqualified for holding on Kofi’s tights during the pin. Y2J blamed HBK for causing interference and distractions during the Night of Champions resulting in his loss. Jericho challenged Shawn for a fight at The Great American Bash in about three weeks.

CM Punk vs. JBL
Mr. Money in the Bank after defeating and winning the title from the Rated R star Edge was required to defend it against JBL. The crowd went nuts when Punk hit the Go 2 Sleep move to JBL thereby defending his title successfully to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. CM Punk has finally got Raw a title which was left without one after the Draft.
