The Miz & Morrison vs. Finlay & Hornswoggle
The WWE Tag Team Champions Miz & Morrison beat the Irishmen Finlay & Hornswoggle which would not have been possible if they had not used the strategies made especially for the team of father-son. Miz & Morrison stopped Hornswoggle from making the Tadpole Splash and pinned him for the win.

Matt Hardy vs. Chavo Guerrero
The twist of Fate delivered by Matt Hardy thrashed all the dreams of Chavo winning the match. Even though throughout the match Chavo hit Hardy on his left knee but it was Hardy’s passion that he retained his title. The Guerrero family is unhappy with the loss.

Kane vs. Big Show vs. Mark Henry
ECW won the gold in the fight of the brands between Raw, SmackDown and ECW. The world’s Strongest Man stood victorious in the triple threat match involving the giants. Henry made full use of the opportunity provided to him by making a huge splash over the other two giants. Henry won the match via pinfall.

Cody Rhodes & Hardcore Holly vs. Ted DiBiase &Mystery Partner
Ted DiBiase who entered the ring alone demanded to fight against Holly first. Hardcore Holly lost the match when he was attacked from behind by Ted’s Mystery Partner none other than Cody Rhodes himself.

Kofi Kingston vs. Chris Jericho
For the Inter Continental Championship, Kofi defeated Y2J Jericho at the Night of Champions. Jericho didn’t have a set opponent for his title and expected HBK to be. But the surprising entry of HBK left Jericho distracted and Kofi made full use of the situation by pinning Y2J for the win.

Mickie James vs. Katie Lea
Mickie James retained her title which she had got by defeating Beth Phoenix earlier. Katie was a tough opponent to James as she had been able to beat James twice earlier on different occasions. The DDT hit by James on Katie proved that Mickie had got what is required to be the Champion.

Edge vs. Batista
The new Raw Superstar Batista went without the title as Edge beat the Animal with the help provided by the SmackDown General Manager Vickie Guerrero. Vickie stopped the referee who was just going to count out Edge and she brought Chavo as the special guest referee. The Animal threw her over the top rope but Edge capitalized the situation by hitting a belt shot at his head and picking up the win.

Triple H vs. John Cena
The Game defeated John Cena and reminded him by saying that he can never be as good as him. The fight was full of action, strengths and the submission holds. Cena’s loss deprived Raw the gold possessed by it earlier the Draft.
