Former Wrestler
The day of 29th June 2008, Sunday brought sad news in the world of wrestling. On this day, the former famous wrestler who belonged to Detroit, Ricky “Crusher” Cortez passed away leaving his dejected fans behind. The star was 83 years old when he died due to heart attack. He was remembered the most for his match against Bruno Sammartino at Detroit’s Olympia Stadium in 1960’s.

Kurt Angle
It seems that injuries are the major part of Wrestling after the incidence of Melina. On the 1st July 2008, the present TNA wrestler and the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle blew out his knee thereby injuring himself. Kurt therefore wore a large brace on his leg when he attended TNA’s next show.

Candice Michelle
Candice Michelle, who is out of WWE for some odd 14 weeks now, updates her fans about her injury. She said that she is improving day by day and will soon make a comeback. She had a cat scan two weeks ago and is feeling better now.

She also informs her fans through her blog that her bones are now in proper shape and healing at a good rate which is different for everyone. The things look better and with this rate of improvement she will soon make a comeback. She is currently undergoing physical therapy and hopes to be in action soon enough.
